Use Social Media to Learn French

I have spent a long time learning Spanish and I am about to start learning French.

I will use Social Media to learn French as it worked for me when I learned Spanish.

In the absence of Spanish speakers to converse with I started following Spanish speakers on twitter and tweeting in Spanish! I know it sounds crazy but I found it really helpful as it made me think about the language on a daily basis.

I found the twitter accounts of sports journalists on Spanish newspaper websites and started from there. I now tweet in Spanish all the time.

There are other forms of social media that could be used to help your language skills; Facebook, forums etc. I guess it's all about immersing yourself in the language.

I am sure the use of social media to learn French can be efficient to anyone. It doesn't take long every day, it can be fun and it's a great tool to learn French vocabulary.

Tweet in a foreign Language and you'll see!

Hope this helps.

Neil
